Stay away from a foolish man; you will gain no knowledge from his speech. (Pv 14:7)

  • They are complacent (Satisfaction with self, no desire to improve) with themselves (Pv 1:32)
  • They act and speak foolishly (Pv 10:21; 12:16; 12:23; 13:16; 14:3; 15:2; 18:2; 18:6-7; 29:11)
  • They spread slander (Pv 10:18)
  • They enjoy shameful conduct (Pv 10:23)
  • They think their way is always the right way (Pv 12:15)

Think about it

Based on a fools characteristics, name some reasons it is good to stay away from them.

Do you know any people who are fools? Are you friends with them?

Do you think it is a good idea to associate with a fool?

Why do you think it is bad to associate with a fool instead of staying away?

Are you a fool?
