Bible Devotions for Living

As a believer in Jesus Christ, you are greatly loved by God the Father and Jesus Christ. God considers you His child (1 Jn 3:1) and loves you infinitely. Although we believers are greatly loved by God, I think we either don’t understand it or forget it at times. For instance, when many believers run into difficulties in life (health, financial, people, etc), some will wonder if God is mad at them or punishing them. It is always good to examine yourself to see if you are living in a sinful way displeasing God but you need to keep in mind that God is your Father. He is going to let you know if you are being punished for a particular sin. Think of it this way, did any good parent ever punish their child without telling them why they were being punished? God is a perfect Parent and I do not believe He will punish you without you understanding why if you are paying attention. Now, you may not be paying attention, but that is a different story. This devotional series will show you God’s feelings for you in the hopes that you’ll know what you mean to God.
