God’s Word is powerful.
“Is not My word like fire”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“and like a hammer that pulverizes rock?” (Jer 23:29)
Go through the verses below and circle or take note of the things the Bible says about God’s Word.
The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth. (Ps 33:6)
“10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, 11 so My word that comes from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.” (Isa 55:10-11)
For I am the Lord; I will speak the word that I will speak, and it will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, but in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord God. (Eze 12:25)
For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart. (Heb 4:12)
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Tim 3:16-17)

And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers. (1 Thes 2:13)
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. (Mt 24:35)
